Me and my friend came by this campsite by accident, but it turned out to be a beautiful accident! Our ’79 VW Van just… stopped. With the last juice we nearly made it to this site, but we were so happy we found this place! A nice and calm spot near the Rür. The owner is one of the most friendly camping owners I’ve ever met (presumably one of the most friendly Germans I’ve ever met too;). He went out of his way to make us comfortable and help us find solutions for the van etc. Finally it was repaired and we were able to return home. But, staying at this place we had a lovely time! The surroundings are beautiful and the bathroom was spotless. I also liked that you could get fresh croissants in the morning! Highly recommended!
